The truly wise ones demonstrate through their actions that it is possible to live in harmony with each other. History records their deeds and their words but, subsequent generations turn them into stories, then myth, and finally the truths of which they spoke are discarded. 20th century America witnessed a wise man in Philadelphia from 1971 until 1986. As with wise men of the past he had a deep love for everyone he met. He taught a cardinal rule, the golden rule: To love all lives as your own.
